Chocolate Celebration

Despite drizzle and a downpour many of us enjoyed a fabulous Easter celebration at the allotment.
Chocolatier Roisin welcomed us all to the Rangers Kitchen whilst Lorna distributed bowls of melted Coconut oil, for us all to begin creating cocoa concoctions. Nuts, dried fruit and teabags (secret ingredient!) were all thrown in the mix, garnished with flowers and glitter and popped in the fridge to set.

Meantime the Easter Bunny had been busy outside, hiding a stash of ready-made chocolate. Slightly damp children ran the length and breadth of the allotment gathering the goodies, whilst Martin and his gang got the barbeque blazing. Picnics were enjoyed, family members joined the celebration and the weather was kind, in the end.

And, we all got to take home our delicious, healthy, homemade chocolate at the end of the day too.
